The Rejuvenation
Workout
Seven Minutes - Twice
a Week
The cells of the body are continuously replaced by new ones as we age. In fact,
during a lifetime we shed and re-grow the outer layers of our skin nearly one
thousand times. Over a seven-year period, the body completely replaces itself,
with the exception of nerve cells, which do not regenerate at all. The process
of regeneration is still a mystery locked in the DNA, but we do know that
hormones play a critical role in the process.
Hormones are chemical
messengers secreted by glands which are sent to other parts of the body to regulate
their functions. Hormones control the growth and development of the body from
the foetal stage through old age, assist in the reproductive processes, and most
importantly, boost the body’s ability to resist infection and disease. Therefore,
keeping the glands that secrete hormones in peak condition is the key to good
health and youthful vigor at all ages.
The Rejuvenation workout
stimulates the primary hormone-producing glands, encouraging them to be alert
and responsive to the body’s needs. Work the reflex areas listed below in the
order that they are presented. Start by working the fist reflex area on the left
hand, then go over to the same area on the right hand. Remember, to co-ordinate the
pressure with your breathing and visualize the glands you are stimulating.
The sequence:
1. The Solar Plexus
Reflexes. 2. The Pituitary Gland
Reflexes. 3. The Thyroid and
Parathyroid Gland Reflexes. 4.The Liver Reflex. 5. The Adrenal Gland
Reflexes. 6. The Ovary / Testicle
Reflexes.
